About Caly

I’m a wife and mother to 3 little boys. I work full time and during my spare time (which I force myself to have), I love to craft. My husband recently graduated from medical school which prompted our move to a little farm town in Ohio. Before my move, I got introduced to Stampin’ Up! and I have been obsessed, addicted, simply mesmerized by it. I live to stamp. I make mostly cards and have self taught and “cased” other people’s work, but I can see that this is now and forever a big part of me that I don’t think I would ever want to walk away from.

Today, December 16th, 2014, I’ve made my first baby steps to living a new dream – a corner of my happiness. I’ve created this blog and an email address just for myself to store my ideas and share my craft ideas with everyone.

UPDATE: July 22, 2015. Today, my husband officially accepted a job offer to complete his medical residency in Kansas City, Missouri where we are from. I’m so happy to move back and to grow around crafters I know and love who have introduced me to this hobby and have supported me through it. I will no longer be crafting alone!!!!

UPDATE: March 2, 2016. I’ve had a baby, Ya’ll! She’s turning 1 in 4 weeks. I can’t even begin to tell you what a beautiful miracle Lyla has been in our lives. Each and every day, I am in awe of her. She gives me little time to craft but I try to sneak it in whenever I can. I’m sorry I haven’t made many videos like I did before she was born. I’m sure you can understand I just don’t have those extra hours to edit and do voice-overs anymore. My husband is finishing residency in a few months. I’m still working full-time as a pharmacist and loving my current position. Life is busy but I recently was told by Darlene Devries that busy people are the ones that get it done! Soooo true! You all are a blessing to me. Thank you so much for your continued support!

I noticed you do stampin up. I also wanted to introduce you to a new company called Fun Stampers Journey. You can go to Funstampersjourney.com/MaraiahCrystal. We have a lot of different and new products. Not to take anything away from stampin up because I like to order from SU all the time.

I found you on you tube, since not too many people have videos making red envelopes! In Hawaii, with our huge Asian population, the lunar new year does not go unnoticed and I’m very familiar with red envelopes😊 thank you for sharing!!! gung hee fat choy!! 🐒
