Reindeer Games Pulled Spinner Card

Happy Friday, Everyone!!!

I’ve been trying to do things I haven’t done before lately and interactive cards have my attention! Last week, I made a spinner card using invisible thread in an open window.  Today’s card is a pulled spinner card which I think you’ll love!

These reindeer from Mama Elephant are tooooo cute!

I used distress ink for the background to make them playful in the sky.  I had no idea what I was doing and just went with it.  See those clouds? I got that look from water at the last minute. Then I added faux stitching using a White Sakura Gelly Roll pen to add some dimension. Another unintentional thing I did.

The pulling mechanism is made using a brad and some Stampin’ Dimensionals. You’ll have to watch the video to see how it’s done…..

I have to admit – it took me an hour to pull this card together. But keep in mind – I had no plan when I started and it took me a while to cut apart the matching dies (getting tiny shards of steel in my arm and fingers – WHY do they come this way!?!).
