What a HOOT

Hello Everyone!

Just quickly wanted to share two projects that I’ve made in the past two weeks.  The first is a set of thank you notes for our local realtor in the neighborhood.  I found some black/white cliparts of a house/homes and printed them out on my laser printer and  used my MINC machine to do some foiling.  Then I heat embossed the sentiment.  I did some tone on tone background stamping and then put my cards together – pretty straight forward!

I LOVE gingham!

In fact…I love gingham so much, that I made a teepee with gingham accents to match my nursing chair. Just a crazy whim I had one day to give Lyla and Liam their own rooms – then we filled up the space with teepees.  SOOO much fun!

It started out with chevron – and there’s still a lot of it…but I seriously love the gingham. That blue end table….it shall be painted white…when the birds start chirping in spring air. 😀

My next card is a birthday card I made for my neighbor, Dina.  Happy Birthday, Dina!  Their family is hoot – they’re so funny!  I got this set recently and I had to use it. It’s so cute!  Supplies for this card will be listed below.

Look at the shimmer on her!

Now…I thought I was done here.  But wait for it….check out what a white Gelly Roll pen can do to this image:

In my husband’s words:  SKADOOSH (from Kungfu Panda – I literally typed out Panda Express and had to correct myself – sorry…I’m hungry a lot these days).  Every time he says this…I laugh hysterically.

Hope you enjoyed that!  I’ll be back in a few days with another set of cards I made for my realtor friend.  I’m so glad she liked the set of cards I made above and asked me to make more!

XOXO,

caly-sig
