Week 3 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hi Everyone!

I honestly cannot believe I’ve kept it up with this coloring challenge.  How amazing that you can really do what you love if you make it a priority! I’m sure that after this challenge is over, I’ll find it less motivating to make the time to craft.  It has been amazing.  I’ve created cards doing things I haven’t done in a long time.  Some cards are more challenging than others but I’m finding that no matter how the card turns out – there are so many wonderful people encouraging and supportive of my work.  THANK YOU, everyone!  I’ve gained so many followers on Instagram as a result and I feel so honored and blessed!

Lets go ahead and dive right into week 3’s cards!

Day 15:  Monstrous Birthday

This stamp set came highly recommended by Jennifer McGuire and I had to have it (imagine that).  😛  It really is a fun set.  I recently did a shaker card using some solid stamps but these ones are fun when you have time to color.  If you’re interested in purchasing – you can check it out here.  Oh…just FYI – I don’t have any affiliate links – I’m not too sophisticated with all that!  The googly eyes really make this card fun!

Day 16: I’ll Stand By You

This Flamingo Together stamp set is one of Lawn Fawn’s mini stamp sets. I really love these mini stamp sets – and I think they fill a 4-bar sized card just perfect.  I did some masking and ink blending to create this card using distress ink.  The fussy cutting isn’t so bad when you cut off their legs and stamp it back in ;).

Day 17:  Octopi My Heart

Another mini set by Lawn Fawn!  When I prepared for this challenge – I pulled out a lot of images and Lawn Fawn just has the cutest little outlined stamps.  If you’re interested in this set – you can see it here.  This card is really simple – I couldn’t decide what I wanted to do with it – so I went with a dry-embossed panel.  Simple and cute!

Day 18:  Hang In There

Okay…you guessed it! Another Lawn Fawn set.  LOL – I have so many that are sitting there and silently calling my name.  I’m honestly so excited that I got to use all of these stamp sets!  This one can be viewed here.  Very similar to the card above, I did a simple window with a dry-embossed panel on top.  This time, lightly brushing some ink to add more interest the woodgrain.

Day 19:  Glad We’re Friends

This Snuggle Bunnies set by MFT can be found here.  It’s an adorable set with several bunnies and teddies.  I did some ink sponging on the white panel and softened it with some vellum.  The black and white strip of washi tape on the left helps fill up some white space and ties the black sentiment banner together.

Day 20:  Out of This World

This is a full stamp set by Lawn Fawn and can be found here.  There are so many little images to color but I limited myself.  The background is created using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and I used Copics to color the stamped images.  It’s so stink adorable and so easy to create!

Day 21:  Chunky Monkey

I was browsing SSS one day and came across this monkey stamp set.  I’ve never purchased Sugar Pea Designs stamps before but this one was too cute to pass up. If you’re interested, you can view the item here.  I limited myself on the number of images for the coloring challenge – but this stamp set comes with lots of different monkeys and they are all super fun!
